Some information about PAP

WELCOME!
Welcome to the website of the student association of pedagogics of Utrecht University: PAP. PAP organises social extracurricular activities. Some activities are just for fun, others are linked to the topic of our study: the development of children in the different environments they live in. A good example is the trip which is organised each year since 2006. During these trips, we visit Universities abroad and learn about the culture of the destination. This year, the trip goes to Latvia, Riga. During the rest of the year, all kinds of activities are organised like excursions to and lectures of guest speakers about a range of organisation which work for children, laser gaming and a prom!
Besides this, PAP has got a room in the Langeveldbuilding, room H115. This room is open five days a week and everyone can come to the room for a cup of coffee or tea!!

ORGANISATION
Each college year, PAP has a new, fresh board. The board of 2010-2011 consists of seven members:

Debora – Secretary Co-ordinator recreational activities
Lindsey - Treasurer
Lisa - Co-ordinator study-related activities
Talisa - Co-ordinator recreational activities
Sosha– Co-ordinator PR

Besides by the board, all activities and the PR are organised by volunteers of PAP. Every student can volunteer to work for PAP, which is a great learning experience. This year, there are 20 committees:

LSPODCIE, which organises a yearly conference
FEESTCIE, which organises the parties and drinks
UITJES, which organises the other recreational activities
TRIPCIE, which organises the trip abroad.
PROMOSIE, which makes all PR materials
PAPERASCIE, which makes our periodical, the PAPeras
WEBCIE, which makes and updates this beautiful website
FINANCIE, which checks the work of the treasurer
ALUMNICIE, which organises gatherings for our alumni
MANNENCIE, wich organises gatherings for the male students
FOTOFILMCIE, wich takes pictures and makes films of all the activities and trips
TRIPCIE, wich organises excursions abroad
DVHJCIE, wich chooses the best teacher of our department
STUDIECIE, wich gives student information about studying pedagogics
GOEDEDOELENCIE, wich organises activities for charity
EJWCIE, wich organises a weekend full of activities for new students
SPONSORCIE, wich strive for financial support
ALMANAKCIE, wich makes a once a year periodical about the experiences of the association
